Description
Emma and her family are wooden dolls living inside a dollhouse. When the boy and girl who play with them are not around, the dolls can move — a little. But Emma is tired of her small world and wishes to go outside where she can have an “adventure”, though she doesn’t really know what that means. She soon finds out when disaster strikes. Emma’s great adventure leads her to discover an unlikely friend along the way. Come enter the secret world of the dollhouse — you may never look at dolls the same way again!
A series of poems describes the lives of a family of dolls and their servants living in a dollhouse in a young girl’s room, from the perspective of Emma, the oldest of the doll children. Full-color illustrations.
